⭕ BREAKING: The UN Security Council has approved a US-drafted resolution authorising an international stabilisation force in Gaza – a core element of President Trump’s Gaza plan.
⭕ Thirteen members backed the move, none opposed it, and two states abstained, including Russia.
⭕ Under the resolution, Gaza will lose de facto sovereignty, with the ISF controlling security and major governance functions.
⭕ The draft text authorises both entities until 31 December 2027, “subject to further action by the Council.”
